Bali is one of the Indonesia’s premier diving destinations for good reason, and people head to the island from right across the globe to take their turn in one of life’s most magical of experiences. For all the beauty that this gorgeous island is able to boast above ground – the verdant jungle, mighty volcanoes, and soaring sea cliffs – there are just as many astonishing wonders beneath the waves off its coast. And with the surface of the moon still better understood than the depths of the oceans, diving in Bali is very much about exploring the Earth’s last unknown wilderness as it is a simple leisure activity.
Those who dive in these tropical waters for the first time are always astounded by the sheer abundance of life beneath the waves, where fine sandy sea beds give way to extensive coral reefs. These reefs are home to huge numbers of colourful fish, and attract larger nomadic species including endangered sea turtles and the giants of the deep – a variety of shark species, huge oceanic sunfish (mola mola), and pelagic fish including whip-fast tuna.
Nor are you limited to a handful of overcrowded dive sites in Bali, since its warm waters offer up almost two dozen major dive sites and many more besides. Whether you’re taking your first tentative drop into the sea with breathing apparatus, or you’re returning to the wonders of Bali’s waters, there are new experiences to be shared every time you slip on your mask and turn on the flow of oxygen.
Unlike other destinations, the geographical range of Bali’s many dive sites mean it’s possible to undertake a charter diving cruise at pretty much any time of year.
It’s true that many of the island’s dive sites lie close to Bali’s famed shores, however there’s absolutely no better way to get the full Bali dive experience than with one of our fully-customisable diving cruises. The flexibility they provide ensures our team will guide you to the very best diving conditions available that day, wherever they may lie. You may find yourself among the teaming underwater fish populations of Padang Bai on the east coast of Bali, amid the reef shark and octopus that call the Blue Lagoon home, passing across the wreck of the USS Liberty – a cargo ship sunk during the Second World War, at Krystal Bay – a popular hangout with sunfish and bamboo sharks, or Manta Point – where manta rays can be found all year round.
Whatever you decide, our crew will ensure you’re diving cruise around Bali. From our headquarters in Serangan Harbour we operate only the finest of vessels, making us Bali’s foremost private charter boat company. Our fleet of vessels includes our motor launch Burjuman, the longer-range Haruku, and our majestic sailed craft, Jemme as well as our sporty sprinter vessel Rhino. It means our guests are able to experience the incredible wonder and sense of peace that diving offers, while being able to relax in complete indulgence between dives.
Important:Indonesia and Bali have some of the most thriving underwater sea life in the world including green turtles, Mola Mola and the majestic Giant Manta Ray. The south coast of Nusa Penida is the best place to experience a dive with Giant Manta Ray because of the massive flow through in the Lombok strait. Whilst Green turtles and Mola Mola can be spotted all year round please note Manta Ray spotting is best between May - November. We offer inexperienced divers an introduction to diving option so no certification is required. Our qualified PADI dive masters will personally assist you throughout the dive to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
